Strategic Culture Matters
This book explores the question of why a significant difference in the frequency and intensity with which Great Britain and Germany used military force since 1990 persists despite reunification and the end of the Cold War. Based on the theoretical framework of moderate constructivism, this thesis argues that differences in strategic culture can explain this puzzle. To this end, it analyses opinion polls and military interventions abroad and then compares decision processes and debates leading to military interventions in Kosovo, Sierra Leone, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Afghanistan.

V centru jeho zájmu je otázka míru, geostrategie, vedení skrytých válek, boj o surovinové zdroje a hospodářská politika. Je zakladatelem a ředitelem Swiss Institute for Peace and Energy Research (SIPER) v Basileji. Svými publikacemi a vystupováním v médiích burcuje pozornost široké veřejnosti, aby se více zamýšlela nad stavem světa a nenechala se ovlivňovat zkreslenými zprávami mainstreamových médií. Ve své nejnovější publikaci se zaměřuje na aktivity NATO, které jsou zcela v rozporu s původním zaměřením Charty OSN z roku 1945, podle níž válku smí vést pouze země, která je napadena, a válka proti nějakému státu smí být vedena pouze s mandátem OSN. Již přes 70 let jsou vedeny války, které tento mandát vůbec nemají, jsou tedy nezákonné, jsou zločinem proti lidskosti, agresí prosazovanou zájmy určitých mocenských skupin. Ganser neúprosně odhaluje vlastní pozadí těchto chtěných eskalací konfliktů.
