COVID-19 nasıl bir süreç izleyecek, ne zaman neye dönüşecek, mutasyona mı uğrar, aşısı mı bulunur, lazer ile mi tedavi edilir yoksa sıcak soğuk farketmeden saldırmaya bulaşmaya devam mı eder şimdilik cevaplanması zor sorular. People don’t believe in the unseen, anymore, Only in things they can see for sure. They say love and soulmates exist no more, Yet they breathe an unseen air to live for sure. Not every story begins in the here and now. Some transit through time never ending. Approaching Ottoman social history through the lens of entertainment, this volume considers the multi-faceted roles of entertainment within society. At its most basic level entertainment could be all about pleasure, leisure and fun. But it also played a role in socialisation, gender divisions, social stratification and the establishment of moral norms, political loyalties and social, ethnic or religious identities. By addressing the ways in which entertainment was employed and enjoyed in Ottoman society, Entertainment Among the Ottomans introduces the reader to a new way of understanding the Ottoman world. Contributors are: Antonis Anastasopoulos, Tülay Artan, Ebru Boyar, Palmira Brummett, Kate Fleet, James Grehan, Svetla Ianeva, Yavuz Köse, William Kynan-Wilson, Milena Methodieva and Yücel Yanıkdağ.
This book discusses the origins and trajectories of political parties, welfare policies, and income inequality, and how the former two affects the latter.
In the early sixteenth century, a series of military campaigns between the Mediterranean Sea and Persian Gulf brought the entirety of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers under Ottoman control. This book offers a history of this rare political unification of the longest rivers in West Asia and its impact on the Ottoman state, provincial society, and the environment.

This new collection focuses on the contributions of key players in these fields and includes chapters on Ottoman artisans in a changing political context, Ottoman chief scribes and the rhetorics of political survival in the 17th century, and empiricism in the Ottoman Empire.
