Caritas in verandering
Zorg voor armen, bejaarden en wezen was eeuwenlang een taak van de kerk. Dit boek gaat over de ontwikkeling van de rooms-katholieke sociale zorg in de stad Groningen gedurende 400 jaar. Het volgt de vele vormen van katholieke caritas vanaf de tijd van de schuilkerken, de katholieke emancipatie, de verzuiling tot en met de jongste periode. Er is aandacht voor de ontvangers en voor de verleners van hulp en de plaats van deze rooms-katholieke zorg in de stad.
