This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 3rd International Workshop, SAVE-SD 2017, held in Perth, Australia, in April 2017, and the 4th International Workshop, SAVE-SD 2018, held in Lyon, France, in April 2018. The 6 full, 2 position and 4 short papers were selected from 16 submissions. The papers describe multiple ways in which scholarly dissemination can be approved: Creating structured data, providing methods for semantic computational analysis and designing systems for navigating. This allows a variety of stakeholders to understand research dynamics, predict trends and evaluate the quality of research.
CLARIN
CLARIN, the "Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure", has established itself as a major player in the field of research infrastructures for the humanities. This volume provides a comprehensive overview of the organization, its members, its goals and its functioning, as well as of the tools and resources hosted by the infrastructure. The many contributors representing various fields, from computer science to law to psychology, analyse a wide range of topics, such as the technology behind the CLARIN infrastructure, the use of CLARIN resources in diverse research projects, the achievements of selected national CLARIN consortia, and the challenges that CLARIN has faced and will face in the future. The book will be published in 2022, 10 years after the establishment of CLARIN as a European Research Infrastructure Consortium by the European Commission (Decision 2012/136/EU). This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 16th International Semantic Web Conference, ESWC 2019, held in Portorož, Slovenia. The 39 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 134 submissions. The Semantic Web – ISWC 2019
The two-volume set of LNCS 11778 and 11779 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 18th International Semantic Web Conference, ISWC 2019, held in Auckland, New Zealand, in October 2019. The ISWC conference is the premier international forum for the Semantic Web / Linked Data Community. The total of 74 full papers included in this volume was selected from 283 submissions. The conference is organized in three tracks: for the Research Track 42 full papers were selected from 194 submissions; the Resource Track contains 21 full papers, selected from 64 submissions; and the In-Use Track features 11 full papers which were selected from 25 submissions to this track. Advances in Ontology Design and Patterns
The study of patterns in the context of ontology engineering for the semantic web was pioneered more than a decade ago by Blomqvist, Sandkuhl and Gangemi. Since then, this line of research has flourished and led to the development of ontology design patterns, knowledge patterns, and linked data patterns: the patterns as they are known by ontology designers, knowledge engineers, and linked data publishers, respectively. A key characteristic of those patterns is that they are modular and reusable solutions to recurrent problems in ontology engineering and linked data publishing. This book contains recent contributions which advance the state of the art on theory and use of ontology design patterns. The papers collected in this book cover a range of topics, from a method to instantiate content patterns, a proposal on how to document a content pattern, to a number of patterns emerging in ontology modeling in various situations.
