Este libro retoma la temática de la integración desde una mirada sociológica para comprender, en diálogo con otras perspectivas de las ciencias sociales, las trayectorias y experiencias propias ensayadas en América Latina. Así pues, se presentan las modalidades de regionalismo poshegemónico o posneoliberal con los diversos formatos y contenidos ensayados en las iniciativas de integración en la región, y los distintos actores políticos y sociales emergentes en los diversos escenarios y escalas de los procesos de integración, y se abordan las múltiples dimensiones involucradas en los procesos de integración más allá de los aspectos exclusivamente comerciales, así como las dinámicas de las desigualdades y las disputas internas en los juegos de poder geopolítico y de actores sociales.
América Latina
Entre 2015 y 2020, América Latina ha tenido que lidiar con la desaceleración económica de los modelos neoextractivistas, el estancamiento de la reducción de la pobreza y de la desigualdad, la creciente rivalidad entre Estados Unidos y China, además de la cada vez mayor insatisfacción de la sociedad civil con las promesas de las democracias -con frecuentes derivas autocráticas-, que han sido minadas por la corrupción o por la violencia. Con este pasado reciente en mente, este libro ofrece los aportes de veintitrés académicos de varios rincones del continente que identifican ciclos y entreciclos socioeconómicos y políticos, para entender los resultados y los desafíos de una modernización regional inacabada. Dictadura y universidad
Esta investigación estudia los mecanismos de represión sobre la Universidad durante la última dictadura cívico-militar, y estudia específicamente el modo en que la práctica represiva se manifestó en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras entre 1976 y 1983, desde una perspectiva amplia del sistema educativo universitario. El libro se compone de una primera parte que presenta un recorrido por las políticas educativas universitarias del régimen dictatorial a partir de las diferentes gestiones en el Ministerio de Cultura y Educación de la Nación y del análisis de reglamentaciones y normativas establecidas a nivel estructural, y cómo estas se hicieron manifiestas en la Universidad de Buenos Aires.
