Buku ini lebih dikhususkan pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tim dosen ITS berbasis produk. Kegiatan abmas berbasis produk merupakan kegiatan abmas yang lebih menitikberatkan pada pemanfaatan hasil penelitian ataupun kegiatan abmas yang di dalamnya mengandung implementasi hasil penelitian dengan luaran berupa teknologi/purwarupa/karya lainnya yang dapat dimanfaatkan langsung oleh masyarakat umum, industri, instansi pemerintah maupun untuk lingkungan internal ITS. Tema yang diambil berkaitan Pengembangan Ekonomi Lokal. Kegiatan ini melibatkan masyarakat lokal di Kabupaten Jombang, Tuban, Trenggalek dan Nganjuk yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesejahteran masyarakat dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di daerah tersebut. Melalui buku ini, kita harapkan dapat menjadi pemacu semangat tim dosen ITS untuk dapat menaikkan peringkat ITS di bidang pengabdian masyarakat, serta semakin mendorong peran aktif dari para dosen dan mahasiswa untuk memberikan kontribusi nyata kepada masyarakat sebagai bagian dari pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi.
