After the deaths of Caesar and Cicero (in 44 and 43 BC) hardly one word has been reliably transmitted to us from even the two most powerful opponents of Octavian: Mark Antony and Sextus Pompeius - except through coinage and the occasional inscription. La definizione di "culto domestico" nell'Italia arcaica e classica e sempre apparsa sfuggente, per via della complessita delle pratiche rituali ad esso pertinenti nei diversi insediamenti e delle difficolta interpretative. Grazie all'analisi di vari contesti di ritrovamento nel settore centrale e meridionale della Penisola, e stato possibile definire una serie di parametri, che hanno condotto ad un catalogo dei complessi presi in esame.
