This book presents research in the old era about the individual elements of economic doctrines that form the basis of the formation of economic science. The aim of the first chapter is to consider the most important economic views (State economic function, budget model, statistics, ownership, etc.) in the ancient epoch (Egypt, Iraq, China, India, etc.). The second chapter deals with the most prominent economic considerations (economics, labor division, money, goods, property, management, etc.) of the famous representatives of the ancient epoch (Ancient Greece, Old Rome), although they did not specifically research economic issues (especially in ancient Greece). The third chapter reveals "mature" economic considerations formed in Western Europe, Kievan Rus', Georgia, Russia, Tunisia etc.) that have finally laid the foundation for economics as a science.
Challenges of the Post-communist Financial-currency Policy
This book presents a review of the problems of transformation as well as the results of implementation of the financial-currency policy in the post-communist countries. It contains characteristics of alternative circumstances of implementation of the financial policy and the conclusions on their possible transformation. It gives the review of the impediments existing in the exchange rate regulations of different countries and the results obtained in the course of nearest experience are also illuminated. The work is targeting at reviewing the subtleties of the transformational development projected to the foreign currency risks. Paramount importance is attributed to those exchange rate regimes, which have become a major catalyst of economic development in a number of countries. The study is intend to define: a) Likelihood of a rise of currency policy challenges now at the base of experience of the financial crisis of 90,s in the post communist countries and b) Exchange regime options that are rationale for the countries.

Over the years, demand for education at all levels in Kenya has greatly outpaced supply, a gap that has been reduced by private schools catering to the needs of a wide range of socioeconomic groups. This gap will widen further unless the private sectors role is expanded, but private educational institutions face a number of serious constraints, primarily stemming from lack of adequate finance and, in many cases, limited management skills. This paper reviews the market and its constraints and focuses on conditions under which private financial institutions and the International Finance Corporation might play a useful role in the sector.
