Psycho-pedagogical research in a Double-degree programme
In this volume we have collected the contributions of many colleagues from the teaching board of Double Degree Joint Master’s Programme in Pedagogy and Educational Sciences and Training of Sapienza University of Rome and two prestigious universities of the Russian Federation: Moscow Federal University for Psychology and Pedagogy (MSUPE) and North-Caucasus Federal University (NCFU) at Stavropol. The present anthology is meant to review the positions and studies that individual teachers from the different universities involved presented in recent years, during online courses, in the lecturing, in the meetings and to discuss their possible opportunities. The volume puts forward this programme, to spread its structure, the theoretical assumptions and the various positions. The contributions are meant to testify a keen interest in internationalization that Sapienza is carrying out. Come chiedere l'aumento
Dopo aver spiegato in Le signore non parlano di soldi come anche in ambito economico le discriminazioni di genere non convengano a nessuno, Azzurra Rinaldi affronta un altro tema urgente: negoziare il proprio compenso. Cercando di smontare i pregiudizi alla base delle disparità occupazionali e di salario tra maschi e femmine, tratteggia una situazione economica squilibrata, mai a favore delle lavoratrici. Per non parlare di lavoratrici con uno o più figli. Se, infatti, quando il maschio diventa padre, il mercato del lavoro sembra premiarlo (straordinari, bonus, promozioni), la situazione per chi è donna al contrario non migliora, anzi. Come possono, allora, le donne avviare una conversazione sui soldi e chiedere il giusto compenso, quando il loro potere contrattuale è così ridotto? Attraverso dati, esempi, tecniche e strategie, Rinaldi offre strumenti concreti per «mettere a tacere la vocina che ci fa sempre sentire inadeguate» e scardinare lo schema che relega le donne alla passività. Ma questo libro è anche per gli uomini, perché per ribaltare la narrazione condivisa sul denaro, per fare cultura davvero, è necessario agire insieme.

Abu Tbeirah Excavations I. Area 1
This book presents the results of the archaeological activities and specialistic studies carried out at the site of Abu Tbeirah (Nasiriyah, Province of Dhi Qar, southern Iraq) by the Iraqi-Italian joint mission of the Iraqi State Board of Antiquities and Heritage and of Sapienza, led by F. D’Agostino and L. Romano (Dipartimento – Istituto Italiano di Studi Orientali). In the volume the accomplishments of the first seven campaigns (2011-2016) are introduced together with an assessment of the palaeo-environment and landscape surrounding the site. After an introduction to the reasons that led to start the archaeological activities in Abu Tbeirah, written by HE Dr A. Al-Hamdani, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Iraq, the diggings in the south-eastern Area 1 are presented (the cemetery and the other activities identified immediately under the top-soil and the last phase of Building A). A preliminary assessment on the Early-Dynastic III/Akkadian Transition pottery horizon (2450-2150 BC) is presented as well. At the same time, the multifaceted analyses and studies, carried out on Abu Tbeirah’s site and findings, are included in the volume.
