Namun, banyak gerakan Taichi yang terlalu sulit untuk dilakukan lansia sehingga perlu penyesuaian secara personal dalam melakukan senam tersebut. Dengan perkembangan teknologi yang ada, terdapat alternatif lain yang dapat menggantikan Senam Taichi dengan fungsi yang sama yaitu latihan dengan Virtual Reality.
