Die Verbrecherorganisation Benefizium heuert 5 Männer an, die sich gegenseitig nicht kennen. Einer von denen heißt Pedro, 23 Jahre. Ich trete aus der Haustür und stolpere über einen Stein, den jemand heute Nacht dort hingelegt hat. Und als ich ihn aufnehme, liegt darunter dieser Brief: Lynchjustiz: Am 16.November 1944 wurde ein amerikanischer Bomber abgeschossen. Die Besatzung sprang mit dem Fallschirm ab und wurde von SS-Leuten festgenommen. Dann wurden die Amerikaner unter Gewaltandrohung verhört, und am Ende eines langen Tages wurden alle Gefangenen bis auf einen in die Zelle zurückgeführt. Dieser wurde weiter verhört und schließlich weggebracht, und bald hörte man zwei Pistolenschüsse. Meine Neugier war geweckt.

La sociedad moderna, compleja, muy productiva e inestable, es una sociedad de organizaciones: la satisfacción de una buena parte de nuestras necesidades básicas (agua, transporte, alimentación, energía, salud, enseñanza, ocio, sentido de la vida, etc.) pasa en la actualidad por la actividad de estas organizaciones. Por ello, se ha hecho necesario su estudio como una parte imprescindible para una comprensión adecuada de nuestra vida en las sociedades modernas. A comienzos del siglo XX, con el advenimiento de las sociedades industriales avanzadas, se hizo patente la necesidad de abordar el estudio científico de estas organizaciones.
