The International Art Exhibition for Palestine took place in Beirut in 1978 and mobilized international networks of artists in solidarity with anti-imperialist movements of the 1960s and ’70s. The museum collection is considered the most important in engravings with 1000 prints along with 600 paintings, 130 drawings, sketches and watercolors and 80 sculptures from the late 19th century to current art.
