This book is a memoir about living with multiple sclerosis, written by a person living with it. MS is a chronic illness that is on the rise around the world. There is much work being done to find medications to help those living with the disease, but there is still no cure. Those living with MS know more about it than their medical advisers, and lived experience proves to be more helpful than medical advice. This memoir can be a friend to those living with MS, and a guide to those trying to help them. This book is written in verse, to keep it light and interesting. The poetry is there because the author feels strongly about sharing her thoughts in this way. From straight from the heart, to straight from the funny bone, poetry adds a sense of meaning from the author to the reader.
