Document from the year 2013 in the subject History - Miscellaneous, , language: English, abstract: Emigration records of the mayor ́s offices Lützellinden and Rechtenbach in the Wetzlar County (formerly part of the Koblenz Administrative Region in the Prussian Rhine Province) have been transcribed and evaluated. The documents held by "Hessisches Hauptstaatsarchiv Wiesbaden" cover the period 1819-1915 and contain emigration applications of Prussian citizens most of which intended to immigrate to North America. Only few of the applicants immigrated to England, Argentina, and Australia. The applicants were residents of the villages Allendorf/Lahn, Bechlingen, Dornholzhausen, Ebersgöns, Groß...
