I (Sometimes) Dislike My Little Kid
I did not invent the Steadfast Father Attitude- only the name. It's been around for centuries, but never needed more than now. I researched and discovered what it is that fathers do that works - and I share it with you now. We want often what we have SOMETIMES - those moments when the child is cooperating with the Steadfast Attitude Father. This Attitude grew out of Dennis' work all his professional life with troubled and troubling children and youth - including teaching child psychology at colleges and public schools - and being a school psychologist. It happens less if you are aware of your own rules for your own space - to recognize who are the aggressor, what they are doing to/at you - most importantly - how you are going to respond for your own good (and theirs!) We ALL psst in the Sandbox of others. Some of us learn to play nicely on our own. Some must be taught. I must play by YOUR rules in YOUR Sandbox. I change or leave. So simple! CAUTION: This book will only be comprehended by those BEING abused - less likely by the abuser (unless they have the capacity to be honest). It is less likely to be grasped by "professionals" who try to "out-think" the simplicity of EMPOWERMENT.

The most important interesting person to each of us is one's Self.
