When Theresa Lennox is arrested for the murder of her abusive ex-husband, she employs private investigator, Matt Summers, to help her track down the killer. Matt, a recovering alcoholic, is down on his luck and takes her case, determined to turn both of their lives around. Her socially and politically powerful in-laws want her in prison and will do anything to achieve that goal. Can they survive long enough to prove her innocence and find happiness together?
