Antologi Esai ini disusun oleh mahasiswa praktikan berdasarkan hasil kegiatan PLP I atas bimbingan dosen pembimbing lapangan. Kegiatan PLP I ini dirancang dalam dua capaian, yaitu (1) membangun Jati diri pendidik dengan mengenal kultur sekolah, struktur organisasi sekolah dan tata kelola sekolah, peraturan dan tata tertib sekolah, dan kegiatan-kegiatan di sekolah. (2) Membangun jati diri pendidik dengan mengetahui praktik proses pembelajaran dan karakteristik siswa. Berdasarkan kegiatan tersebutlah mahasiswa praktikan menyusun esai sebagai respon dan kemampuan memberikan pendapat terhadap dunia pendidikan. Antologi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi motivasi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kompetensi diri dalam berlatih melatih menulis karya tulis ilmiah sebagai calon seorang pendidik.

Sebenarnya, definisi ilmu bioteknologi diterjemahkan berbeda-beda oleh masing-masing ilmuwan. Namun dari beberapa definisi yang telah dikemukanan mengerucut pada defi nsi dari Primrose dalam bukunya Modern Biotechnology (1987) yaitu penerapan prinsip-prinsip ilmu pengetahuan dan kerekayasaan untuk penanganan dan pengolahan bahan dengan bantuan agen biologis untuk menghasilkan bahan dan jasa. Berdasarkan definisi diatas dapat ditarik pemikiran bahwa akar dari ilmu bioteknologi adalah keilmuan dasar penunjang yang akan memperluas cakupan aplikasi bioteknologi. Oleh karena itu saat ini banyak bermunculan cabang ilmu gabungan yang mengeskplorasi fenomena bioteknologi. Akar keilmuan bioteknologi akan diolah dan direkayasa sedemikian rupa untuk diaplikasikan pada beberapa bidang bioteknologi terapan. Penerapan bidang bioteknologi mencakup hampir keseluruhan kebutuhan hidup manusia, seperti dalam bidang lingkungan dan perairan, pertanian dan peternakan, pengembangan obat, dan masih banyak lagi.

ICBAE 2022
The 3rd International Conference of Business, Accounting, and Economics (ICBAE) 2022 continued the agenda to bring together researchers, academics, experts and professionals in examining selected themes by applying multidisciplinary approaches. This conference is the third intentional conference held by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto and it is a bi-annual agenda of this faculty. In 2022, this event will be held on 10-11 August at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The theme of the 3rd ICBAE UMP 2022 is “Innovation in Economic, Finance, Business, and Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development”. It is expected that this event may offer a contribution for both academics and practitioners to conduct research related to Business, Accounting, and Economics Related Studies. Each contributed paper was refereed before being accepted for publication. The double-blind peer review was used in the paper selection.
Attachment in Group Psychotherapy
Attachment theory is influencing how we understand interpersonal relationships and how psychotherapy can help facilitate change for those struggling in relationships. More recently, researchers and clinicians have applied attachment theory to group treatment, one of the most effective forms of psychotherapy to address interpersonal difficulties. This book highlights some of the bridges between attachment theory and contemporary approaches to group treatment. In addition to applying attachment theory to innovative treatments, each chapter addresses a specific way in which attachment impacts the members’ capacity for empathy and perspective taking; the development of cohesion in the group; the automatic fight-flight response during group interactions; members’ ability to tolerate diversity; and the leaders’ capacity to foster safety within the group. This book will help group leaders gain a richer understanding of attachment theory and attachment based techniques that will ultimately benefit their groups.
