Dari pengamatan saya selama 22 tahun di bidang sales, hampir semua orang disaat sekolahnya tidak ada yang punya impian sebagai sales. Bahkan ada yang kuliahnya di marketing namun cita-citanya bukanlah sebagai sales tapi sebagai pengusaha, marketing manager, business development, market intelegen dan sebagainya. Dan sebagai orang fresh graduate tentunya sangat idealis dengan cita-citanya, karena menekuni sekolahnya gak gampang juga kan, trus tiba-tiba jadi sales yang menjajakan barang atau jasa ke orang lain. Sebagian kecil memang ada yang sudah menyadari bahwa dia cita-cita pengen jadi pengusaha, dan mengetahui bahwa untuk menjadi pengusaha sukses berarti salah satunya ditunjukan dengan perusahaannya berkembang. Berkembang artinya apa? Omsetnya makin gede dong, artinya penjualannya naik dong. Nah disini sebagian kecil orang tersebut menyadari bahwa menjadi pengusaha tantangannya sudah diketahui sejak awal yaitu dia harus menjual barang atau jasanya supaya diketahui oleh khalayak ramai dan bisa menyelesaikan problem masyarakat.
