Com o livro Atualizações em geriatria e gerontologia VII: envelhecimento saudável, visa-se disseminar conhecimentos sobre o envelhecimento saudável, sob uma perspectiva interdisciplinar, em consonância com a Década do Envelhecimento Saudável 2021-2030, proposta pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) e endossada pela Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU).
