Evaluation on Government's Reforestation Programme in Indonesia
Abstract: "The study analyses changes in rates of forest cover in Indonesia and their association with local government forestry expenditure (FE) and other factors that directly and indirectly contribute to the effectiveness of FE. Linear regression results, based on 2007-10 national data, indicate that forest expenditure has not been effective in reducing deforestation even after factors found to be correlated with forest loss-such as population growth, population density and initial forest cover proportions-are controlled for."
Inovasi Pemerintahan Kontemporer
Buku ini berusaha menelusuri peta jalan perkembangan inovasi pemerintahan kontemporer dengan berbagai dinamikanya. Dalam penelusuran tersebut, buku ini tercipta dengan kandungan sepuluh bagian penting untuk menggambarkan sena menganalisis inovasi pemerintahan guna meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik. Buku ini diharapkan mampu membuka wawasan dalam mempelajari, mengetahui, serta memahami dinamika inovasi pemerintahan saat ini. Secara garis besar buku ini dipetakan menjadi 3 (tiga) tema besar. Setiap tema memiliki beberapa bab di dalamnya. Tema pertama yaitu memahami inovasi pemerintahan secara teoretis. Tema kedua tentang implementasi dalam inovasi pemerintahan, yang membahas hambatan dan tantangan dalam inovasi pemerintahan. Tema ketiga, mengkaji best practices inovasi pemerintahan. Ketiga tema kajian tersebut dibahas secara detail ke dalam sepuluh bagian pokok bahasan yang menjelaskan bahwa inovasi adalah penemuan yang menarik dalam pemerintahan kontemporer berbasis teknologi informasi.
IKM Kerajinan Kulit Magetan
Sinopsis: Pada buku ini dipaparkan perkembangan pergeseran sektor ekonomi dari produk primer ke industri sekunder di bidang IKM Kerajinan Kulit di Kabupaten Magetan. Industri Kecil dan Menengah (IKM) adalah bisnis industri dengan skala usaha industri kecil dan industri menengah. Pada pelaku bisnis IKM kerajinan kulit Kabupaten Magetan terdapat faktor-faktor stimulan potensial maupun berbagai wawasan dinamisas kondisnya perlu kajian untuk menjadi literasi yang baik dalam pengembangan sebuah bisnis skala IKM. Dalam buku ini juga dipaparkan potensi kerajinan kulit sebagai industri hilirnya didukung dengan industri penyamakan kulit di Kabupaten Magetan yang menjadi industri hulu. Kerajinan kulit merupakan hasil keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan kulit setengah jadi dari hasil potensi industri penyamakan kulit untuk dijadikan suatu barang yang dibuat dari usaha masyarakat secara mandiri sebagai upaya memperbaiki tatanan ekonomi masyarakat daerah tersebut.

"New media and development of gender roles: law, social, and economic perspective.” This theme was raised as an effort to observe the development of new technology that has greatly affected people’s lives. Formerly to seek information, people can get it through conventional radio media, newspapers and television. But now only use the smartphone we can get very much information that can be obtained by accessing the online media portal or sharing and socializing through social media. For decades it has been stated that the media has the power to shape public opinion. Media not only can form a “worldview” of society, but also able to create awareness and individual belief in reality; a reality that has been defined by the media. Media has a powerful and direct effect to the audience (market). Including how then the media formed an opinion in the community about gender roles through the content provided by the new media. Of course it will be interesting to study media related to the law, social, and economic perspective.

Puji syukur penulis ucapkan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa atas rahmat Nya yang telah tercurah, sehingga penulis bisa menyelesaikan buku “Kumpulan Materi Ajar Kreatif” ini. Adapun tujuan dari disusunnya buku ini adalah supaya para guru dapat mengetahui bagaimana cara membuat bahan ajar melalui contoh materi ajar di buku ini. Tersusunnya buku ini tentu bukan dari usaha penulis seorang. Dukungan moral dan material dari berbagai pihak sangatlah membantu tersusunnya buku ini. The Limits of Institutional Reform in Development
Developing countries commonly adopt reforms to improve their governments yet they usually fail to produce more functional and effective governments. Andrews argues that reforms often fail to make governments better because they are introduced as signals to gain short-term support. These signals introduce unrealistic best practices that do not fit developing country contexts and are not considered relevant by implementing agents. The result is a set of new forms that do not function. However, there are realistic solutions emerging from institutional reforms in some developing countries. Lessons from these experiences suggest that reform limits, although challenging to adopt, can be overcome by focusing change on problem solving through an incremental process that involves multiple agents.
