El presente volumen recoge los trabajos derivados de los proyectos financiados en las convocatorias que la Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca (UPSA) puso en marcha, en el curso 2019-20, para potenciar la innovación y la transferencia de conocimiento entre los miembros de su comunidad académica. Estas y otras muchas acciones tienen cabida en el Club Universitario de Innovación (CUI), un foro propio de la UPSA cuyo objetivo es el intercambio de talento, conocimiento, creatividad y tecnología, que se abre a todos los alumnos, investigadores, emprendedores, empresas e instituciones. Los resultados obtenidos, fruto del esfuerzo de los estudiantes y profesores implicados en los proyectos, han permitido desarrollar prototipos con posibilidades de comercialización, capaces de dar soluciones a distintos desafíos relacionados con la innovación social y el empleo de la tecnología.
Blanca Andreu, Galicia, and the New Iberian Mysticism
This book contributes to the ongoing discussion of the place of contemporary Galician writer Blanca Andreu’s work within the 1980s post-“novísimo” movement, as part of a larger resurgence of the Surrealist in Spanish poetry and its possible placement in the more recent mystical poetry of Spain. It provides a detailed textual analysis of her poetry, and in doing so reveals not only that her work encompasses notions of the surreal and the mystical but also, although Andreu has so far written entirely in Castilian (Spanish), that her poetry utilizes a variety of traditional Galician and Portuguese symbols and images. In this way her work challenges the boundaries between what we as readers may accept as a solely Castilian, Galician, or Spanish poetic. It bases its transtheoretical framework on findings from such fields as Galician studies, Iberian studies, mysticism studies, paradigm shift studies, and regional studies over the past two decades. Ultimately, this comprehensive and unique study shows how Andreu’s multifaceted transnational work may pertain to, and expand, our knowledge of each of these areas of focus.
Critical Thinking in the Sustainable Rehabilitation and Risk Management of the Built Environment
This proceedings book presents contributions to the International Conference on Critical Thinking in the Sustainable Rehabilitation and Risk Management of the Built Environment – CRIT-RE-BUILT – held in Iași, Romania, November 7–9, 2019. Construction and Building Research
Many areas of knowledge converge in the building industry and therefore research in this field necessarily involves an interdisciplinary approach. Effective research requires strong relation between a broad variety of scientific and technological domains and more conventional construction or craft processes, while also considering advanced management processes, where all the main actors permanently interact. This publication takes an interdisciplinary approach grouping various studies on the building industry chosen from among the works presented for the 2nd International Conference on Construction and Building Research. Recent Innovations in Surgical Procedures of Pancreatic Neoplasms
