Psychological Intervention for Suicidal Ideation, Behavior, and Attempted Suicide
Taking one's own life is called suicide, and approximately 800,000 people worldwide commit suicide every year because of various reasons, according to the World Health Organization. Poor mental health is a major driver of suicide, especially in high-income countries. People who commit suicide perform impulsive destructive behaviors beyond their ability to cope with their stressors; currently, there is a need to establish effective psychotherapies for the same. Suicidal ideation and behavior are involved in attempted suicide, and psychotherapies that specifically intervenes in suicidal ideation may reduce suicidal risk. In this special issue, we would like to collect knowledge regarding psychotherapies/cognitive-behavioral models, wherein the evidence of their effectiveness has been generated by research and clinical trials. We expect the papers collected in this special issue to be a source of good ideas and solutions.

Conservation Genetics in the Neotropics

Nematology being an established discipline covers a wide range of area ranging from basic aspect to the advanced and applied aspects involving recent advances in molecular techniques. This book discusses the following topics: the role of nematodes in our life (in agriculture, ecosystem functioning, experimental biology, ecological studies, pest management programs, or biocontrol), identification of GRSPs in nematode genomes, novel way for the diagnosis of pathogenic nematodes involving various recent molecular techniques, other methodologies for successful control of termites, evolution of plant-parasitic nematodes, viability of adult filarial nematode parasites, the impact of plant-parasitic nematodes on crops, and harnessing useful rhizosphere microorganisms for nematode control. Palimpsests in Ethnic and Postcolonial Literature and Culture
This volume explores ways in which the literary trope of the palimpsest can be applied to ethnic and postcolonial literary and cultural studies. Based on contemporary theories of the palimpsest, the innovative chapters reveal hidden histories and uncover relationships across disciplines and seemingly unconnected texts.
