Daylighting
Daylighting offers a general theory and introduction to the use of natural light in architecture. The fourth of Derek Phillip's lighting books draws on his experience to illustrate how best to bring natural light into building design. As sustainability becomes a core principal for designers, daylighting comes to the fore as an alternative to artificial, energy consuming, light. Here, Phillips makes a rational argument for considering daylight first, outlining the arguments in favour of a daylight approach, and goes on to show, through a series of beautifully illustrated case studies, how architects have created buildings in which natural light has been shown to play a major strategic role in the development of the design of a building.
Advanced Machining Processes
Advanced machining processes has significant contributions to the manufacturing industries, especially since many new invented materials have advanced properties, which are difficult to machine using conventional machining processes. Therefore, advanced machining processes take a lead in dealing with these types of material. This book focuses on electrical machining and electrical dressing processes. Chapter 1 explains the electrochemical machining (ECM), includes process parameters that involved in the ECM processes. Chapter 2 deals with another advanced machining process, i.e. electro-discharge machining (EDM). Several process parameters that contribute to the EDM processes are also discussed. Electrical dressing is described in Chapter 3 as a special application of ECM and EDM. Finally, other types of non-conventional machining are explained in Chapter 4. Unity in Diversity and the Standardisation of Clinical Pharmacy Services
Unity in Diversity and the Standardisation of Clinical Pharmacy Services represents the proceedings of the 17th Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP 2017), held 28—30 July 2017 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The primary aim of ACCP 2017 was to bring together experts from all fields of clinical pharmacy to facilitate the discussion and exchange of research ideas and results. The conference provided a forum for the dissemination of knowledge and exchange of experiences. As such, it brought together clinical pharmacy scholars, pharmacy practitioners, policy makers and stakeholders from all areas of pharmacy society and all regions of the world to share their research, knowledge, experiences, concepts, examples of good practice, and critical analysis with their international peers. This year also marks the celebration of 20 years of ACCP. Central themes of the conference and contributed papers were Clinical Pharmacy, Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Pharmacy Education, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacoepidemiology, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) and a number of related topics in the field of Pharmacy.

Generasi Z? Dunia ini tidak akan pernah lepas dari yang namanya perubahan. Seiring berjalannya jaman, pasti akan menimbulkan suatu perubahan. Perubahan inilah yang juga ditonjolkan pada generasi yang disebut Generasi Z. Suatu perubahan itu tidak dapat dihindari, tetapi harus dihadapi dengan inovasi dan kreasi. Beranjak dari hal tersebut, maka muncullah suatu ide yang bisa dikembangkan agar dapat menimbulkan suatu hasil yang maksimal. Melihat peluang ini, penulis menuangkan ide yang dihadapkan dengan perkembangan jaman Z yang semuanya serba dinamis dan cepat. Belajar dari orang – orang muda zaman Z, yang mempunyai pemikiran yang tanggap dan out of the box, kita diajak agar kita pun sebagai orang muda yang lain juga harus mempunyai pemikiran dan ide – ide yang gila pula agar kita dapat menghasilkan suatu hasil yang fantastis yang berguna untuk memperbaiki sistem yang ada sehingga dapat menjadi orang – orang yang berkepribadian baik.
Daylight Design of Buildings
To complement the critical and objective view gleaned from the study of some sixty buildings, this design manual has been developed to provide a more synthetic approach to the principles which lie behind successful daylight design. These principles are illustrated with examples drawn from the case study buildings. The emphasis throughout has been on practical methods to improve design, rather than techniques studied for any intrinsic interest. The book provides the necessary tools to assist the designer to provide well daylit interiors, and shows that good daylight design is not a restriction on architectural expression but, on the contrary, acts as an inspiration and foundation for good architecture.
