El evento contó con la presentación del ex presidente Ernesto Samper Pizano, Carmenza Kline y Almabeatriz Rengifo entre otros . Organizado por el Politécnico Grancolombiano, en asocio con la corporación Escenarios y la Universidad de Salamanca, el seminario agrupó a varios analistas que se dedicaron a explorar las diversas facetas de la globalización, tal vez uno de los términos más usados y a la vez incomprendidos de nuestros días.
