Design recommendations include current, projected, and emerging capabilities within the Generalized Intelligent Framework for Tutoring (GIFT), an open source, modular, service-oriented architecture developed to promote simplified authoring, reuse, standardization, automated instructional management and analysis of tutoring technologies.
