İnsan kaynağının iyi yönetilmesi; planlı ve sistemli bir çalışmanın yürütülmesi ile mümkün olabilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, temel işletme faaliyetleri içinde önemli bir yer tutan insan kaynakları yönetiminin, havacılık yer hizmetleri yönetimi açısından önemini vurgulamak ve temel insan kaynakları yönetimi uygulamalarını açıklamaktır.
