Features the Medici Archive Project, which focuses on the Medici Granducal Archive in the Archivio di Stato in Florence, Italy. The archive offers the most complete record of any princely regime in Renaissance and Baroque Europe. The Project will index the archive through a database called "The Medici Granducal Archive: Documentary Sources for the Arts and Humanities (1537-1743)" which will include indexes for people, portraits, places, and topics. Also being developed are projects which document Jewish history and the history of costume and textiles as reflected in the archives.
