Dalam dunia pendidikan khususnya para akademisi seperti dosen, guru dan mahasiswa akan membutuhkan penelitian sebagai syarat dalam meningkatkan kualifikasi dan jenjang karier yang akan dicapai. Langkah-langkah mengolah dan menganalisis karya ilmiah tentunya membutuhkan metode penelitian. Metode penelitian ini dapat memberikan pandangan yang komprehensif dalam menemukan cara untuk menginvestigasi data. Buku Metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif ini akan sangat membantu para civitas akademika dalam melaksanakan proses dan membuat penelitian atau karya ilmiah secara sistematis. Buku ini terdiri dari 16 bab yang akan menjabarkan secara detail terkait metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif dimana setiap sub bab nya membahas mulai dari konsep.
Berdasarkan difinisinya Asesmen merupakan proses pengumpulan data yang menunjukan perkembangan pembelajaran peserta didik. Sedangkan evaluasi pembelajaran ialah penilaian terhadap informasi dan keterangan yang diperoleh dari aktifitas asesmen. Berdasarkan definisi tersebut, asesmen dan evaluasi pembelajaran merupakan kedua hal yang saling berkaitan. Kedua hal ini perlu dipahami oleh pelajar/mahasiswa dan khususnya tenaga pengajar/guru/dosen dalam merancang asesmen yang pada akhirnya menuju ke penilaian peserta didik. Oleh karena itu tenaga pengajar perlu untuk memahami dan menguasai jenis-jenis dan kelebihan-kekurangan asesmen dan lain lain, yang digunakan untuk menilai kemampuan siswa setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran, sehingga peserta didik berhasil menguasai kompetesi yang ditargetkan. Buku Asesmen dan Evaluasi Pembelajaran ini akan menyajikan materi yang mencakup 7 bab yang disusun secara koheren. Kami berharap buku Asesmen dan Evaluasi Pembelajaran ini dapat menjadi referensi kepada pelajar/mahasiswa serta tenaga pengajar/guru/dosen agar lebih memahami Asesmen dan Evaluasi Pembelajaran.

Although long out of date, Bernard Karlgren’s (1957) remains the most convenient work for looking up Middle Chinese (ca. A.D. 600) and Old Chinese (before 200 B.C.) reconstructions of all graphs that occur in literature from the beginning of writing (ca. 1250 B.C.) down to the third century B.C. The phonology, morphology and lexicon of late Zhou Chinese are examined in this volume. It is argued that a proper understanding of Old Chinese morphology is essential in correctly reconstructing the phonology. Based on evidence from word-families, modern dialects and related words in neighboring languages, Old Chinese words are claimed to consist of a monosyllabic root, to which a variety of derivational affixes attached. The objective of the work of W. South Coblin has been to collect various materials on Chinese and Tibeto-Burman languages into a single list and to arrange this list in a clear and convenient form, with indexes which make the information easily accessible.The author presents the view that Chinese and the Tibeto-Burman languages must have descended from a common proto-language. He reconstructs Sino-Tibetan proto-forms from which Chinese and Tibeto-Burman reflexes can be derived by regular rules. The importance of the reconstructive exercise lies not in the detail of this or any other reconstructed system but in the fact that the exercise can be successfully carried out, regardless of theoretical convictions or orientations.
