Etherons As Predicted by Ioan-Iovitz Popescu In 1982
An almost forgotten breakthrough in cosmic science. Prof. Ioan-Iovitz Popescu, predicted in 1982 the smallest particles in our ether, the so-called etherons. They amount in number to about 10122 in the Universe and are of a size of 10-35 m and have a weight of 10-69 kg. This booklet presents the original copy of that historic 1982 document in Romanian language. Naturally this document, written in one of the tightest communistic countries, was not accepted at its desired level by the mainly Anglo-Saxon world of physical sciences. The first confirmation of the etheron came in the article of N. Ionescu-Pallas in 2003 in his Reflections Concerning the Genuine Origin of Gravitation where he pointed out that the term "etheron," and the previous formula of mass were, for the first time, proposed by the Romanian physicist Popescu, when the compliance between the ether concept and the General Relativity Theory was by no means evident. By this remarkable intuition, Popescu turns out to be a forerunner of the kind of gravitational theory we enter upon in this scientific work. For that reason the publications of the original article is presented in its entire scope.

Cosmic and atomic small particle research absorbs billions of dollars, while that of the ether of the universe and of the atoms is practically neglected. However, these atomic spheres and the universe contain etherons of a size of 10-35 m and in a quantity of dozens of orders of magnitude larger than that of the particles of atomic nuclei of matter. They play a basic role in nature and life. Mankind's spirit, bound to the atomic ether, has not reached yet its optimal level, allowing all kind of failures and excesses. Quantitative Analysis of Poetic Texts
The book presents methods for the objective analysis of poetic language. Common objects of literary studies such as rhythm, semantic explications, interpretation and personal impressions are avoided. Only those properties of poetic texts are taken into account that could be quantified. The major chapters contain the analysis of phonic phenomena (frequency, euphony, assonance, alliteration, aggregation, rhyme), word properties (aspects of frequency, length, richness, word classes, sequences of word properties, characterisations). The synergetic control cycle is the result of the study of mutual links between properties. For all methods both statistical tests (evaluation, comparison), theoretical derivations (models), and examples are presented. The book is dedicated to the work of the famous Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu whose complete work was analysed, which made detailed illustrations of the method possible. The methods can be used mutatis mutandis for any language and text. It is the first comprehensive quantitative analysis of a poetic work.
