The Art of Memory
We have chosen to investigate the reasons why memorials have been built, to look at whose memory is being honored, and to examine the responses to these memorials. The creation of an exhibition and the production of this book presented the opportunity for an analytic perspective. In the process, we have neither created another memorial nor have we solely explored the field of Holocaust art.
