: John Tomikel wrote poetry from the time he was in elementary school until his 50th birthday when he married Bonnie Henderson. For some reason he stopped writing poetry and concentrated on writing novels. Up to that time he had been published widely in poetry magazines and in environmental literature. His last poem which begins this volume was published in his book, "Spirituality Without Religion." Most of the poems were edited and published by the Mitre Press of London, England. He was listed in many Who's Who type publications and received several awards and prizes. Two of his poems were published in Great American Poets published in India. Bruce Boland, Alma West Virginia

Edible Wild Plants of Eastern United States and Canada

The first printing of this work sold out immediately and was never reprinted since Dr. Tomikel produced his comprehensive Edible Wild Plants and Useful Herbs. The charm of this work still has an appeal and so it is produced once again. This issue incorporates the pages of the first printing and has some photographs which were not in that printing. The hard cover version which accompanied the first printing can sometimes be found under "rare or antique" books. People of nature will be pleased to add this book to their collections.
