Zelluloid
ZELLULOID is dedicated to a particular genre of artistic film, in which the image is generated directly, by physically processing the film strip. Unlike other forms of experimental film, the film material is interpreted as if it were a canvas by using a diverse range of artistic processes: through painting, drawing, collage on the celluloid, scores and scratches in the photographic emulsion, chemical manipulation or the direct lighting of photo-sensitive media. This exhibition catalogue contains outstanding examples of 'films without a camera' and features some 20 international artists and filmmakers from the 1930s to the present day. Entre los trabajos publicados hasta hoy que han investigado la bibliografía cinematográfica vasca ninguno ha sido publicado por separado y tan sólo recopilan referencias bibliográficas sin ninguna intención analítica.La propuesta que tienen en sus manos trata de resolver esta laguna bibliográfica al analizar todo lo publicado entre 1968 y 2007 sobre el cine vasco –realizado por directores nacidos en Euskadi– con el propósito de conocer su estado actual,su historia y su trayectoria.
The Godfather Book

Buruli Ulcer
A major objective of this open access book is to summarize the current status of Buruli Ulcer (BU) research for the first time. It will identify gaps in our knowledge, stimulate research and support control of the disease by providing insight into approaches for surveillance, diagnosis, and treatment of Buruli Ulcer. Book chapters will cover the history, epidemiology diagnosis, treatment and disease burden of BU and provide insight into the microbiology, genomics, transmission and virulence of Mycobacterium ulcerans.
