El contenido de este texto dice relación directa con las investigaciones que presentaron diferentes académicos nacionales y extranjeros en el V Congreso Chile España, que se desarrolló en la Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción durante el año 2018. Las temáticas que se consideraron en dicha actividad, tuvieron directa relación con la Historia de las Relaciones Internacionales y se iniciaron con el origen y rol de la Sociedad de Naciones el año 1919, culminando con la iniciativa americana en este campo, representada por UNASUR y su actual condición.

Taking place at the beginning of Spain’s Second Republic, those parliamentary deliberations brought about significant novelties in the political vocabulary. To get to know in greater detail the history of Opus Dei and its founder: to get to know the central characters, what its documents say, its influence on the Catholic Church and contemporary society. Since 2007, this has benn the task of the journal "Studia et Documenta". The journal gathers together studies, annotated unpublished documents, news of academic interest, reviews and synopses, and a comprehensive bibliographic bulletin. Each volume contains in the region of 500 pages. The articles are prepared by specialists and are subjected to the peer review system.

Esta obra constituye el primer repertorio de Derecho eclesiástico español que se publica en nuestra nación. Abarca con la pretensión de ser exhaustivo las monografías y artículos científicos publicados entre 1953 y 1993. De esos cuarenta años se recogen, aproximadamente, unas dos mil referencias bibliográficas. El repertorio tiene como principales destinatarios a los investigadores en las materias que abarca el Derecho eclesiástico del estado y a aquellas personas que sin dedicarse profesionalmente a la investigación, necesiten o deseen conocer lo publicado en alguno de los diversos temas que son objeto de esa especialidad jurídica.
