SEGURANÇA DO PACIENTE
O tema central apresentado neste livro, Segurança do Paciente, tem sido objeto de estudos de pesquisadores, docentes, mestrandos e estudantes de graduação das Faculdades Pequeno Príncipe em Curitiba-PR. O motivo é bastante claro, considerando-se que relatórios, dados e notificações revelam que, embora estejamos caminhando a largos passos, ainda acontecem erros e mortes. O cenário da (in)segurança é visível e real em todo o mundo, em alguns lugares em grande medida; em outros, menos ações e conhecimento. Mas não podemos generalizar. Realmente ainda há muito a ser feito em prol da sociedade, dos profissionais e das instituições de saúde. Não obstante ser um assunto discutido mundialmente, ainda se faz necessário o aprofundamento nas reflexões, e, para tal, o ensino precisa ser/estar sistematizado, consciente e eficaz para que haja mudanças nas práticas relativas ao assistir, gerenciar e pesquisar. Assim sendo, nesta obra, apresentamos um compilado de estudos com diferentes olhares e novas perspectivas, que certamente irão auxiliar os leitores em diferentes áreas, escritas de forma interdisciplinar e multiprofissional.

Styling Romanisation
What was the impact of Romanisation on non-elite life in central Italy during the late third and second centuries BC? Focusing on the increasing spread of black-gloss pottery across the peninsula, this text demonstrates the importance of the study of such everyday artefacts as a way of approaching aspects of social history that are otherwise little documented. Placing its subject within the wider debate over cultural identity in the Roman world, the book argues that stylistic changes in such objects of everyday use document the development of new forms of social representation among non-elite groups in Roman Italy. In contrast to previous accounts, the book concludes that, rather than pointing to a loss of regional cultural identities, the ceramic patterns suggest that the Romanisation of Italy provided new material opportunities across the social scale.
