This volume explores the potential of the concept of the creaturely for thinking and writing beyond the idea of a clear-cut human-animal divide, presenting innovative perspectives and narratives for an age which increasingly confronts us with the profound ecological, ethical and political challenges of a multispecies world. Mensch-Tier-Beziehung - Möglichkeiten und Ansatzpunkte für die Soziale Arbeit
In Deutschland befindet sich in der heutigen Zeit in etwa jedem dritten Haushalt ein Haustier. Tiere existieren in allen Gesellschaftsschichten und begleiten Menschen verschiedenen Alters. In pädagogischen und therapeutischen Handlungsfeldern steigt die Präsenz von Tieren ebenfalls: Tiere erhalten Einzug in Einrichtungen und Projekte. Außerdem werden gezielte tiergestützte Interventionen durchgeführt. Vor diesem Hintergrund stellen sich die Fragen, welche Möglichkeiten Tiere für die Disziplin ‘Soziale Arbeit’ bringen und welche Risiken und Grenzen bestehen. Zur Klärung dieser Fragen wird vordergründig die Mensch-Tier-Beziehung analysiert. Hierfür wird die historische und gesellschaftliche Entwicklung des Mensch- Tier-Verhältnisses betrachtet. Darauf aufbauend werden Erklärungsansätze aus verschiedenen Wissenschaftsdisziplinen zu der Mensch-Tier-Beziehung erläutert und Verhaltensaspekte der Menschen und Tiere in der Beziehung zueinander konkretisiert.
