En la ciudad del positivismo perdido: lecciones aprendidas para una criminología urbana
En el presente artículo realizamos un acercamiento a cómo el postpositivismo, la liquidez y el capitalismo han afectado mediante su corriente neoliberal a las escuelas de pensamiento de las Ciencias Sociales y su método de investigación. Realizando una aproximación en base a tres realidades distintas como es el fenómeno de los refugiados políticos, los homeless y el ciberporno, podremos observar las limitaciones actuales en materia de investigación para con algunas fenomenologías y realizaremos una propuesta de abordaje basado en una Criminología más urbana y los mixed methods.
El escuadrón suicida de la criminología: Innovación etnográfica en contextos de ocio nocturno. Casos Magaluf y “raves”
El presente artículo expone un análisis de la metodología etnográfica y las nuevas innovaciones que han ido surgiendo en los últimos tiempos a este respecto. De esta forma, tras analizar someramente el estado de la etnografía en la Criminología española, pasamos a presentar la Etnografía Instantánea y la Autoetnografía. Por último, utilizamos la investigación de campo en el contexto del ocio nocturno para analizar las virtudes y limitaciones de estas herramientas sumergiéndonos en el fenómeno situado en Magaluf y las raves.
Carnaval de incienso y MDMA: un acercamiento desde la criminología cultural al fenómeno de los Raves y la semana santa
En este artículo realizaremos una incursión al carnaval contemporáneo. Intentaremos comprobar si tras la mascarada simbólica de eventos lúdicos actuales, como los raves, o propios del folclore nacional, como la propia Semana Santa sevillana, se esconden las mismas estructuras socioculturales y, por ende, las desviaciones afines a las mismas. Para ello, se realiza un acercamiento etnográfico desde la Criminología Cultural (Hayward y Young, 2008), que nos lleva a observar cómo la teoría del carnaval del delito (Presdee, 2000) asume consistencia en ambos escenarios.
