Comparaison interspécifique de la dynamique saisonnière de composés azotés et carbonés chez le chêne sessile (Quercus petraea Matt. Liebl.), le chêne pédonculé (Quercus robur L.) et le hêtre (Fagus sylvatica L.) aux stades juvéniles et adultes
Ce travail nous a permis de comparer la composition de la biomasse en composés azotés et en composés carbonés pour trois espèces forestières. Les teneurs en C (g/kg biomasse) sont stables quels que soient l’espèce et l’âge. Les teneurs en N (g/kg biomasse) sont presque 10 fois plus importantes chez les jeunes plants, quelle que soit l’espèce. Il y a un lien fort entre teneur en azote et âge. Le rapport C/N est presque 10 fois plus faible chez les jeunes plants, ce qui est dû à leur teneur élevée en azote total. Les valeurs pour une tranche d’âge donnée sont comparables entre espèces.
