Der Bereich Kunst und besonders die Literatur weisen seit jeher eine große Affinität zum Radikalen in verschiedenen Ausprägungen auf. Der Sammelband spürt diesem Phänomen in drei verschiedenen Zusammenhängen nach – als literarisches Verfahren, das vor allem formale Aspekte fokussiert, als literarisches Motiv, das auf inhaltlicher Ebene angesiedelt ist, sowie als zugeschriebenes oder selbst evoziertes Autorencharakteristikum.
