The Ideational Approach to Populism, Volume II
This book provides a series of specific predictions about the distinct impact of populist ideas. In this sequel to the first volume, the ideational approach to populism is extended, providing a robust theoretical framework for understanding populism’s consequences and for identifying policies that mitigate its most negative effects. It reaffirms that ideas matter, arguing that an ideational definition of populism leads to more accurate, and sometimes surprising predictions about the impact of populism at multiple levels of analysis. The chapters of this edited volume explore the effect of populist ideas in each of four areas: consequences for state-level institutions, voters, and international relations; and mitigation. The ideational approach encourages us instead to invest in more systematic engagement with populists and pay better attention to our communication skills. It will be of interest to students and scholars of politics, international relations, social psychology, and political communication.

Imaging of Soft Tissue Tumors
Only with the advent of computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging have radiologists become familiar with this uncommon pathology. The emphasis here is on MRI, as it guarantees the most accurate diagnosis of soft tissue tumours. Because of their rarity, multi-centric studies are necessary to collect statistically relevant numbers of these tumours and so assess the value of new imaging techniques in their detection, staging, grading, tissue characterisation, and post-treatment follow-up. This is a reflection of the work of a prestigious European study group of more than 30 such co-investigators - including experts on medical imaging - who collected more than 800 documented and histologically proven cases of soft tissue tumours. For each tumour type, 10-12 cases are shown, supported by 3-4 photos. Unsurpassed in its collection of case studies.

In Democratic Engineering in Rwanda and Burundi the author argues that a democratic model which is suitable for single-cultural societies may not be applicable in multicultural societies; he illustrates that the liberal and socialist theories have not addressed the issue of national minorities which threatens peace and stability in most African countries. The author investigates the form of democratic engineering that would harmonise ethnic relations and guard against ethnic discrimination and violence. He explores the consociational and integrative theories to identify a suitable democratic system that would stabilise Rwanda and Burundi.
