Little Words is an interdisciplinary examination of the functions and change in the use of clitics, pronouns, determiners, conjunctions, discourse particles, auxiliary/light verbs, prepositions, and other “little words” that have played a central role in linguistic theory and in language acquisition research. Through a multifaceted exploration of the periodical press, contributors to this volume offer new insights into the workings of Brazilian power, culture, and public life. Collectively arguing that newspapers are contested projects rather than stable recordings of daily life, individual chapters demonstrate how the periodical press played a prominent role in creating and contesting hierarchies of race, gender, class, and culture. Contributors challenge traditional views of newspapers and magazines as mechanisms of state- and nation-building. Rather, the scholars in this volume view them as integral to current debates over the nature of Brazil. Este libro pretende ser una guía de aprendizaje de formulación de casos en psicología clínica. Se incluyen indicaciones del proceso completo, desde la evaluación y diagnóstico hasta la implementación del tratamiento pasando, sobre todo, por el acceso a y la selección de la evidencia científica y experiencia clínica acumulada que nos puede llevar a la aplicación de las técnicas más adecuadas para cada caso.
