Dr. ALHASAN CEESAY
Our will is phenomenal force within us that is never deflected by challenge. We hear opponents saying, "Put your purse where your mouth is." This is grudging way of goring our will for it to vacillate. This is about way a penniless human fought against the odds of inhuman laws at many crossroads of his life. The turbulent waves commenced in 1953 when I decided to become part of the solution to rural Gambia's health service delivery. Brace yourself and take heart to read about life of Dr. Alhasan S. I Refused to Fail
Grand Pa Bajoja Ceesay admonished that one only fails upon accepting failure as last resort. He said, "Sonny, the successful had trail blazers of endless failures but only learnt from them while refusing to succumb to failure. My struggle for the downtrodden and life objective of providing healthcare delivery to rural Gambia was reinforced by ideas I picked up while a student in Michigan but above for my love and commitment to my fellow villagers. A drowning person swims franticly towards any floating object to cling on it in hope of saving his or her dear precious life. It is form of triumph sane person yearns. Medicine for the Villager
Medicine for the Villager is a sequel of The Legend Against All Odds. It chronicles my experiences from 2000 to the present. It is a tale of people coming together to bring Manding Medical Centre into reality. It portrays my determination to bring medical service to the villagers. I am convinced that it is the right thing for my people. My meetings with dignitaries, the media, and politicians were geared to providing medical aid. I saw it as a mission by a simple person determined to heed his peopleas call. Project Manding Medical Centre is globalized as doctors from America and the United Kingdom provide medical aid to Gambian villagers. Finally, a portion of the proceeds from this book will support Manding Medical Centre and provide scholarship for study of medicine and agriculture to village children.

Prince Reu was one who used power to extremes and like Hitler wanted to rule entire realms. It was the Silent warrior of Kedugou who brought him down to earth and by this victory over prince Reu federated the entire black continent of his days.King silence is a fictitious story based on real life of one that was West Africa's strongest man and warrior alive. His popularity and leadership gift enabled him galvanize the continent into a functional union serving its people. He was one that was guardian of African culture and custodian of its traditions. ONE MAN'S CRUSADE
This is tip of the ice-berg regarding my determination and effort to bring healthcare delivery to Northern rural Gambia. The path is a trail of hard work intermingled with immigration problems of foot-dragging bureaucracy. Incident I came across in 1954 reinforced my determination to bring solution to Gambia's rural healthcare delivery. Villagers walk l over a hundred miles seeking medical service and only find empty shelved dispensaries with no doctor to attend them. Gambia's healthcare is understaffed and ill-equipped Health Centres. I dedicate my life to providing medical service to rural Gambia through NGO Manding Medical Centre I founded at Njawara village since 1993. The Centre has treated free 90,000 villagers and needs all and any help one can give or join in a good humanitarian cause to needy villagers.
