La llarga nit feudal
Els estudis que s'apleguen en aquest volum resumeixen més de trenta anys de recerca sobre l'organització i el funcionament de la societat i l'economia del territori català en els llargs temps feudals. Aquestes recerques es mouen més lliurement per les societats i economies tradicionals, de senyors i pagesos, de violències, resistències i adaptacions que ni comencen amb la caiguda de l'Imperi romà, ni acaben tampoc amb la supressió de la carcassa feudal duta a terme per un liberalisme que va deixar en mans dels antics senyors gran part del seu poder polític i econòmic. Es tracta sobretot d'una aportació original sobre aspectes centrals i controvertits de la historiografia medieval catalana -i del feudalisme en general- que van des dels orígens, l'evolució i el sentit econòmic de la servitud, fins al funcionament concret del règim senyorial abans i després de la Sentència de Guadalupe.

L'esguard de la Societat Catalana de Geografia és una mirada a la Geografia des d'aquesta societat filial de l'Institut d'Estudis Catalans (IEC), al llarg de la seva trajectòria (1935-2020). Aquest llibre és el resultat d'un programa de recerca finançat per l'IEC durant tres anys i executat per sis membres de la Societat Catalana de Geografia (SCG), que hi han exercit diverses tasques directives. Hom hi analitza el desenvolupament de la Geografia a Catalunya a través de la pròpia SCG, en el context científic, social i polític dels seus vuitanta-cinc anys. És per això que el repàs de l'activitat desplegada per la Societat es fa tenint en compte la història de l'entitat i la del país, amb la mirada fita en l'evolució de la ciència geogràfica, parant atenció als seus paradigmes i a les metodologies i tècniques emprades. Batec. Historia de vida de un grupo de maestros
El objeto de investigación de este libro es un grupo de maestros conocido como Grupo Batec, presente en la vida educativa de Lleida y provincia durante el periodo inmediatamente anterior al nacimiento de la segunda República española y hasta el final de ésta. Considerado como movimiento, los batequistas tenían como objetivo despertar en el pueblo el amor por la escuela, hogar de todos, y experimentar críticamente en el marco escolar los nuevos métodos y técnicas educativas.
A Revision of the Dulcamaroid Clade of Solanum L. (Solanaceae)
This volume is a monograph of the 47 species of the Dulcamaroid clade of the large and diverse genus Solanum. Species in the group occur in North, Central and South America, and in Europe and Asia. The group is most species-rich in Peru and Brazil, and three of the component species, Solanum laxum of Brazil, Solanum seaforthianum of the Caribbean and and Solanum crispum of Chile are cultivated in many parts of the world. All species are illustrated and a distribution map of each is provided. All names are typified and nomenclatural and bibliographic details for all typifications presented. One new species from Ecuador is described. The monograph is the first complete taxonomic treatment of these species since the worldwide monograph of Solanum done by the French botanist Michel-Felix Dunal in 1852.
