Heterodoxia
La multiplicidad artística contemporánea, interroga la relación entre el arte y la política, el arte y la economía, el arte, la educación y la estética, ampliando el referente de reflexión e incorporando otros discursos; especialmente, porque no obstante la volatilidad y confluencia de significaciones de las prácticas actuales, los discursos estéticos disciplinares aún predomina . En suma, la potencialidad del arte para el diálogo, permite articular el hacer y el pensamiento, entrecruzando diálogos, como experiencias de participación donde los sentimientos, los deseos, los saberes racionales e intuitivos, emerjen desde el conjunto. Heterodoxia alude a lo diverso. Y en nuestro caso, Heterodoxia propuso el encuentro de artistas, público y filósofos para provocar otras lecturas y abrir el horizonte de debate frente al arte y sus implicaciones.
Grupos de discusión
La experiencia de provocar situaciones de discurso, plantea, ante todo, el encuentro dinámico y agectivo en la pretensión de "hacer grupo para no hacerlo", valerse de su estructura, deshaciédola, reconociendo las experiencias previas que nos han traído a hablar de esto, de lo que decimos que hacemos, hacemos y pensamos. Los grupos de discusión, así propuestos, buscan las grietas de esas experiencias reinterpretando el decir de ienes estipulan y especulan lo que debemos ser como individuos y como grupo.
Forjando Territorios
Forjando territorios es una publicación que reúne experiencias significativas de la implementación del programa de FORJA, Formación Javeriana para el Cambio Social y la Paz, por parte de diferentes carreras, durante la primera fase de su institucionalización 2017-2020. Durante estos años, profesores vinculados a las cuatro facultades, hemos construido conjuntamente una historia, entretejiendo las maneras de pensarnos la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, desde las particularidades disciplinares de las carreras y las facultades en diálogo con los territorios. Construction and Building Research
Many areas of knowledge converge in the building industry and therefore research in this field necessarily involves an interdisciplinary approach. Effective research requires strong relation between a broad variety of scientific and technological domains and more conventional construction or craft processes, while also considering advanced management processes, where all the main actors permanently interact. This publication takes an interdisciplinary approach grouping various studies on the building industry chosen from among the works presented for the 2nd International Conference on Construction and Building Research. The papers examine aspects of materials and building systems; construction technology; energy and sustainability; construction management; heritage, refurbishment and conservation. The information contained within these pages may be of interest to researchers and practitioners in construction and building activities from the academic sphere, as well as public and private sectors.
Governing the Galleys: Jurisdiction, Justice, and Trade in the Squadrons of the Hispanic Monarchy (Sixteenth-Seventeenth Centuries)
The development of the Spanish Navy in the early modern Mediterranean triggered a change in the balance of political and economic power for the coastal populations of the Hispanic Monarchy. The establishment of new permanent squadrons, endowed with very broad jurisdictional powers, was the cause of many conflicts with the local authorities and had a direct influence on the economic and production activities of the region. Manuel Lomas analyzes the progressive consolidation of these institutions in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, their influence on the mechanisms of justice and commerce, and how they contributed to the reconfiguration of the jurisdictional system that governed the maritime trade in the Mediterranean.
