No entanto, a vontade de sobreviver e avançar acaba por nascer e faz crescer, das cinzas de uma paixão, um sentimento de paz e de amor próprio. Raquel Oliveira nasceu em Lisboa no dia 27 de março de 1947. Aposentada, foi professora de Educação Física durante todo o seu percurso profissional. Sempre escreveu e, quando se reformou, cresceu o tempo livre e a vontade de contar as coisas que via, vivia, sentia ou imaginava. Continuou a escrever e a guardar os escritos até que finalmente decidiu, depois de alguns percalços, editar o primeiro livro de poesias.
