Neutrosophic Sets and Systems, vol. 73/2024 {Proceedings of the “Mediterranean Conference on Three Decades of Neutrosophic and Plithogenic Theories and Applications” (MeCoNeT 2024)}
This volume contains the proceedings of the Mediterranean Conference on Neutrosophic Theory (MeCoNeT 2024), held at the Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti of the University of Messina on September 24-25, 2024. The event was organized by the MIFT Department (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, and Earth Sciences) of the University of Messina, marking the first international congress on neutrosophic theories outside the Americas. This milestone has firmly established the Mediterranean region as a key hub for research in the rapidly growing field of neutrosophic theory. The MeCoNeT 2024 conference drew over 100 participants from more than 15 countries, with more than 50 scientific contributions selected through a rigorous peer review process. The hybrid format of the event—featuring in-person sessions at the historical Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti and online parallel sessions—allowed for broad international participation. The conference thus offered an ideal platform for sharing interdisciplinary research and addressing contemporary challenges in mathematics and beyond.
Educating Muslim Girls
This examination of the several considerations and factors that influence the schooling of Muslim girls is the first of its kind, based on first-hand information from interviews, documents and reports, and empirical studies. It argues that state policies and initiatives on education, regional location, social and economic compulsions, as well as changing community perceptions are critical to our understanding of why the educational attainment of Muslim girls continues to remain below average. The authors draw on their Survey findings on girls' education, based on data collected across the country, to present a macro consideration of the complex factors that influence Muslim girls' schooling. They can compare the experiences of five distinct locations Delhi, Aligarh, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Calicut and attempts a situational, micro analysis of these factors, identifying some critical elements that determine their educational status. By doing so they succeed in dispelling prevalent misperceptions regarding 'community conservatism' and resistance to change and advocate more pro-active affirmative action by the state.

The Queen of Sheba
Part I of this book begins with a scriptural study of all Sheba references, particularly the origins and genealogy of the name and its connections with Hebrew patriarchs such as Abraham and kings Saul and David; it later explores the literature and legends surrounding king Solomon and his trade negotiations with Sheba. The text analyzes theories and links between the Queen of Sheba and Pharaoh Hatshepsut, and concludes that Sheba may well be the Pharaoh based upon linguistic associations and the related stories from a multitude of regions and countries. Part II travels into ancient Arabian, Yemeni, Ethiopian, and Eritrean tales of the Queen of Sheba, and examines the mention of Sheba in an array of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim texts.
