PISA 2018. Ítems liberados
El estudio PISA en su edición de 2018 tuvo la comprensión lectora como competencia principal de evaluación. También lo fue en las ediciones anteriores de 2000 y 2009. Muchas de las unidades PISA se mantienen a través del tiempo para poder comparar las respuestas de forma longitudinal. Algunas, sin embargo, se publican en cada nueva edición del estudio, para que se puedan utilizar por la comunidad educativa. En esta edición de 2018, además de las unidades liberadas tras el estudio piloto (Foro sobre Aves, Leche de Vaca y Las Islas Galápagos), se han incorporado otras dos unidades de lectura: Rapa Nui (Isla de Pascua) y Preguntas de Fluidez Lectora. Esta publicación recoge todas las unidades puestas a disposición de la comunidad escolar por parte de la OCDE comentadas para que los potenciales usuarios conozcan su finalidad y el motivo de su aplicación. Quixotic Modernists
Quixotic Modernists gives close readings of two novels by two little-studied writers of the early twentieth century in Spain, Felipe Trigo's Las ingenuas (1901) and Maria Martinez Sierra's Tu eres la paz (1906), in relation to the canonical Tristana by Benito Perez Galdos, Spain's greatest nineteenth-century novelist. This study shows the modern message (regarding gender), and modernist qualities of the prose of these works. Included are discussions of Quijote intertexts, proverbial language and tactics, the angel and the mujer-nina, flower, water, and animal imagery, and visual arts in relation to gender definition. Also included are contemporary responses to the novels and material about the authors' lives and Spain's social conditions in the early twentieth century. Quixotic Modernists integrates these themes into a study of the novelization of difficulties in transforming contemporary gender and class roles. In all three authors' works, this process of change in roles for both men and women becomes a quixotic enterprise, in which artists as/and characters search to reconnect with an elusive material, social body.
Spanish Film Policies and Gender
This book provides a comprehensive cultural and historical account of the key film policies put into place by the Spanish state between 1980 and 2010 through a gendered lens, framing these policies within the wider context of European film legislation. Departing from the belief that there is no such thing as an objective and value-neutral approach to policy analysis because our society is organised around gender, this volume builds upon Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of field to propose that film policies do not emerge in a vacuum because they respond to different demands from those agents involved in the field of the Spanish cinema. By so doing, it critically assesses how these policies have come into being, by whom, in response to what interests, how they have shaped the Spanish film industry, and how far and in what ways they have tackled gender inequality in the Spanish film industry. This book will be of great interest to scholars and students of Spanish cinema, gender studies, film industry studies, film policy, and feminist film studies.
