Ulrich Cameron Luft Papers
Extensive documentation of the career and life of a prominent research physiologist. The collection includes biographical material pertaining to Luft's life in Germany and his participation in the German Nanga Parbat expeditions, Luft's published and unpublished research writings, his research files, and correspondence with other physiologists and publishers. A few of Luft's medical instruments are also contained in the collection, as well as photographs of Luft, his family, some of his colleagues, and of research laboratories where he worked.

Man, Medicine, and the State
This anthology unites articles about different aspects of scientific human experiments in the course of World War I to the 1960s. The majority of them deals with the development of medicine and life sciences as well as the national research promotion under the Nazi regime and during World War II. Studies on human experiments of French, Japanese, and US-American research enlarge the perspective on a problem of obviously international range. These empirical studies are supplemented by articles on the legal evaluation of this behaviour of scientists, as well as on the resulting movement to formulate binding transnational ethical codes on behalf of human experiments.

The Manichaean Codices of Medinet Madi
The seven Manichaean papyrus codices of the fourth or fifth century were discovered in illicit excavation in 1929 in the Egyptian desert. They were acquired in about equal halves by A. Chester Beatty for his library and by Carl Schmidt for the papyrus collection of the Staatliche Museen of Berlin. Having had access to the inventories, correspondence, and files in Berlin, Robinson provides translations of the German and French documents to increase access to information previously unavailable tothe scholarly community.
