Speech and Language Technologies
This book addresses state-of-the-art systems and achievements in various topics in the research field of speech and language technologies. Book chapters are organized in different sections covering diverse problems, which have to be solved in speech recognition and language understanding systems. Design and Development of a Wiki-based Collaborative Process Writing Pedagogy
This book introduces the Design-Based Research (DBR) methodology to develop a pedagogy named Wiki-based Collaborative Process Writing Pedagogy (WCPWP). Through this, teachers can enrich their teaching knowledge and orchestrate collaborative writing activities by using Wiki to help primary school students with their Chinese writing. The results of this study have theoretical implications for applying Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework and design principles for implementing Wiki-based collaborative process writing in the Chinese context. It is an example of capitalizing on computer and Wiki technologies to support collaborative writing among upper primary school students in Mainland China.

The objective of this study is to provide a preliminary indication of potential opportunities for the expansion of Canadian exports into the United States. The findings in each report are based on an analysis of US trade statistics and a limited survey of US importers and trade associations from a broad cross-section of US industry. The purpose of each report is to assist Canadian companies in identifying potential export opportunities that may justify further investigation.
