La información financiera en la banca del siglo XXI

NORMAS DE CONTABILIDAD EN LA UNION EUROPEA
El manual Normas de contabilidad en la Unión Europea constituye una revisión sistemática de una parte importante de las Normas Internacionales de Contabilidad (NIC/NIIF) emitidas por el International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) que están incorporadas a la normativa contable de la Unión Europea (UE), al haber sido adoptadas mediante los oportunos Reglamentos. El objetivo principal es que el lector profundice en el conocimiento de las normas internacionales de contabilidad adoptadas por la UE (NICE/NIIFE), complementándolo en algunos casos con las emitidas por el regulador contable español, al objeto de facilitarle una visión más cabal de aquéllas. Los contenidos del mismo son válidos para los estudios de Grado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas. Presenta un enfoque eminentemente práctico con numerosos ejemplos y ejercicios que complementan el desarrollo teórico. Al objeto de que el lector pueda comprobar el grado de asimilación alcanzado, al final de cada capítulo se incluye un cuestionario de autocomprobación.

Este libro desarrolla el análisis contable de las empresas individuales a partir de sus estados financieros (cuentas anuales). Lo anterior se completa con las especialidades que presenta el indicado análisis cuando se trabaja con información en base “consolidada”; es decir, con la correspondiente a grupos de sociedades (cuentas anuales consolidadas). Los contenidos del mismo son válidos para los estudios de grado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas. The Orient in Spain
Taking as its main subject a series of notorious forgeries by Muslim converts in sixteenth-century Granada (including an apocryphal gospel in Arabic), this book studies the emotional, cultural and religious world view of the Morisco minority and the complexity of its identity, caught between the wish to respect Arabic cultural traditions, and the pressures of evangelization and efforts at integration into “Old Christian” society. Orientalist scholarship in Early Modern Spain, in which an interest in Oriental languages, mainly Arabic, was linked to important historiographical questions, such as the uses and value of Arabic sources and the problem of the integration of al-Andalus within a providentialist history of Spain, is also addressed. The authors consider these issues not only from a local point of view, but from a wider perspective, in an attempt to understand how these matters related to more general European intellectual and religious developments.
