The Final Crisis

The Final Crisis makes a strong claim that the Bible is the word of God, by declaring the things that are to come. It explains the utterances of God that have been fulfilled, that are being fulfilled, and will be fulfilled. “The Final Crisis,” therefore, outlines the future of the USA, the future of Israel, and the rise of the king of the south and the king of the north that will reign terror on this world. This book, also, outlines the future of the two Muslim mosques on the Jewish temple site and what will befall them. It explains how Russia will betray the West and embrace a terrorist power. “The Final Crisis” explains nine-eleven from the Bibical standpoint. The European Union is shown to be the Revised Roman Empire, and the explanation is given as to how it will be reduced in size from its current number to ten nations. Ultimately, this book outlines how Christ will come and put down all rule and all authority and rule this world for the glory of God.

William Kelly (1821-1906) was born in Millisle, County Down, Northern Ireland. He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. Left fatherless at a young age, he supported himself by teaching the family of Mr. Cachemaille, Rector of Sark. He secured a post as governor to the Seigneur of Sark in 1841. He married in Guernsey and in the 1870s moved to Blackheath, London. In 1840 Kelly made the Christian confession and, shortly afterwards, embraced the views of, and became a member of, the Plymouth Brethren. Besides aiding Dr. Samuel Prideaux Tregelles in his investigations as a Biblical Textual Critic, Kelly also published, in 1860, a critical edition of the Book of Revelation, which was praised by...

Against the Trend

William Kelly (1821-1906) was much more than a Brethren theologian who was a leader of the Moderate Exclusive Brethren movement, and also much more than an indiscriminate follower of John Nelson Darby (1800-1882). He was highly regarded not only within the Brethren but also by Christian leaders of other denominations. In this book Dr. Critchlow examines Kelly's lively and scholarly appraisal of the German "School of Higher Criticism" and his commentary on a range of works of contemporary Anglican and non-conformist theologians. She argues that Kelly's exegesis was meticulous and scholarly and demonstrated his understanding of the whole canon of Scripture. Despite his ecclesiology, his theolo...

Petra’s Legacy

The matriarch of one of the most important families in Texas history, Petra Vela Kenedy has remained a shadowy presence in the annals of South Texas. In this biography of Petra Vela Kenedy, the authors not only tell her story but also relate the history of South Texas through a woman’s perspective. Utilizing previously unpublished letters, journals, photographs, and other primary materials, the authors reveal the intimate stories of the families who for years dominated governments, land acquisition, commerce, and border politics along the Rio Grande and across the Wild Horse Desert. From Petra’s early life in the landed ranchero society of northern Mexico, through her alliance with Luis ...
